Wow!!! a sun has set but will rise in its legacy of hoope and forgiveness: Nelson Mandela was a prophet, a true leader that gave us all hope. He now lives with his ancestors; He was a gift to us all. A living monument, an ideal, a hope, a future. our brother madiba was all these things and much, much, much more. We salute him, he was our conscience; Our hope for a better tomorrow and a life well lived.
Madiba moved his nation South Africa towards equality, justice and civil dignity for all and in the process moved billions across world. His name Madiba wherever mentioned whispereed a certain reverence, an awe that only comes as a result of Divine Grace bestowed on a soul willing to live to be captain of his ship. As the worlod celebrate this truely great leader, i stop to ponder what nurturing could refine the human nature so much as to bring 91 heads of states to a single occassion of farewell funeral.
From my research, he was a boy raised herding cattle and tutored by elders of his Thembu tribe, in period of turmoil as the World War I was on-going, with no prior knowledge of great leaders espercially in his native African country where he lived. Its amazing how he gathered himself the true qaulities of mankind which ought to be lived by all, yet so many of us fail in the process espercially our leaders.
